G’Day USA is the hottest Australian LA red carpet event, so there was no way we were going to miss this! We sent Hot Hits Live From LA host Maude Garrett down to the red carpet to chat to some of the Aussies who are making it big in the US.

Delta Goodrem and Maude bonded over their LA single status, but Delta reminded us all that it was really a good thing.

“You know one day you’ll be married up and you’ll be forever with your loving partner, whoever that may be. But for this chapter, it’s so great to be concentrating with your best mates, and whatever goals you had. That’s what I love about this chapter for me. I haven’t been single in like ten years! I’m really relishing in that alone time,” Delta said.

We will do anything Delta tells us to do. If Delta says it’s good to be single, then it is good to be single.

Sharon Osbourne talked up the talent in Australia and tried her hand at the Aussie accent, Timomatic tried to settle his nerves, Renee Bargh, Jessica Gomes and Tina Arena were beyond lovely while Curtin Stone got excited about Maude having the same name as his restaurant. And Mel Gibson made a little appearance.
