Relatively unknown Australian actress Stef Dawson has been named as the latest actor to join the cast of The Hunger Games ffranchise!
Dawson has been plucked from relative obscurity to play District 4 victor Annie Cresta in the third and fourth films of the series, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2.
The announcement was made via the official Hunger Games Twitter account, with the post reading:
For fans of the franchise (and books) you will know that Annie is the love interest of District 4 pretty boy Finnick Odair (to be played by Sam Claflin).
This latest casting news comes just days after Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer confirmed she had signed on to play Cressida (Capitol defector who is charged with following Katniss around to film her) in the final two films.
The two actresses will join Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Julianne Moore and Philip Seymour Hoffman, among others.
