She has forged a successful career in acting that recently earned her the title of Dame – so it makes sense that Helen Mirren has a little wisdom to impart of troubled actresses Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes.
However her advice isn’t as deep as you may expect!
Known for telling it like it is – when asked recently for advice for the out of control once child stars Mirren replied simply that they needed to be less self-absorbed!
She said, "I don't know if you're allowed to say this on television. But don't be up your own bum.”
"People get up their own [bottom], and you really don't need to. It's the thing of the young. Just-just don't do that."
The 67-year-old is currently promoting her new movie Red 2 and has been acting for six decades.
This also isn’t the first time that she has comments on young stars getting into trouble.
She told Esquire in 2011, "We're all idiots when we're young. We don't think we are, but we are. So we should be. The hardest period in life is one's twenties.
"It's a shame because you're your most gorgeous and you're physically in peak condition. But it's actually when you're most insecure and full of self-doubt. When you don't know what's going to happen, it's frightening."
Lindsay recently spent her 27th birthday at Cliffside Malibu while she is undergoing rehab for incidents related to driving offences.
Amanda is due in court July 9 for allegedly throwing a bong from her New York apartment window- where she will be charged with possession of marijuana, attempted evidence tampering and reckless endangerment.
