Could Justin Bieber be about to make the cross-over from music to movies?

According to actor and producer Mark Wahlberg it’s most definitely on the cards because he’s enlisted Justin to star in one of his upcoming projects.

Rumours have been around for awhile that Justin had film plans in the pipeline and now Mark has come forward to reveal more details about the project.

Speaking in a recent TV interview Mark said, “We had [a film studio] meeting and I said, ‘Hey, by the way what do you think about me and Justin Bieber in a like Color of Money-type of basketball, street hustler movie?’ They bought it in the room in five seconds. So we developed the script, the studio loves it, his camp loves it.”

But don’t start lining up for those movie tickets yet – Mark admitted that with Justin’s touring schedule and Mark filming Transformers and Ted 2 the new project won’t even begin shooting until at least next year.

So how did it come about that Justin was considered for the role? Mark said he saw him playing in a celebrity basketball tournament and thought he’d be perfect for it – and as all you true Beliebers know Justin has always been awesome at basketball!

If only this movie was coming out now!
