Taylor Swift is in Australia right now, and we got the chance to go one on one with the singer herself.
We sent Maude Garrett out to chat to T Swift, and she found out some very interesting things about Taylor’s personal relationship - with her fans of course!
Taylor has millions of Twitter and Facebook fans, and she loves getting the chance to chat to her fans –although she doesn’t want to overwhelm them with too many posts.
“I think it’s all how you use it, you know. Like I try not to burn my fans out, like I don’t tweet five hundred times a day. Like vote for me at this, do this, go do that, sign up for this. I don’t have like a team of people who operate it, I just when I wanna tell them something, or when I think something’s funny,” Taylor told thehothits.com.
“I think for me, it feels like a personal relationship. And yeah it’s a personal relationship with 22 million people but it’s still a personal relationship,” she added.
And yes, Taylor does read your tweets, even if she doesn’t always respond! She revealed that Twitter has actually helped her decide what songs to add to her tour setlist.
“Sometimes if I see something that isn’t nice I’ll just quickly go to the next one, like read the next one. The thing I love to look at the responses to determine is like the set list for tour. ‘Cos I can tell based on what my fans are tweeting about the most, I can tell what songs they like the most. And that’s how I put together the setlist.”
