We love covers here at The Hot Hits, and our favourite from the past week has to be Taio Cruz’s version of Rihanna’s Diamonds.

The description on the video says, “Having a little fun setting up my new LA studio and decided to record this cover. Enjoy.”

As well as being a ridiculously successful performer, Taio has also written and produced songs for a whole stack of other artists. So we’re always interested in what he can do!

Taio played around with the autotune on this track, and explained in the comments, “I know the Autotune is on Max! Lol, I just liked the effect (I was kinda going for the "Lost in the World" by Kanye West vibe)”.
