Miley Cyrus has saved Wiz Khalifa from the dog house at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards (20 May) after he almost forgot to thank his fiance in his acceptance speech!

Wiz was awarded Best New Artist at the event in Las Vegas, and managed to thank his parents, God and record label bosses before making to head off the stage.

Luckily Miley, who presented Wiz with the trophy, stepped in to remind Wiz to thank his girl Amber Rose, who was his date to the ceremony at the MGM Grand.

She stepped up to the mic and added, "Don't forget your girl."

Wiz responded, "Of course. My beautiful fiance. She's my world and she puts up with my crazy butt too."

Lucky for Wiz Miley was there!
