The Wanted have taken aim at Christina Aguilera, criticising the "rude" singer for snubbing them during an appearance on US talent show The Voice last week.

The boys were recent musical guests on the TV show, but their excitement at hitting the stage in front of mentors Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee-Lo Green ended up being bittersweet after they received an icy response from Christina - who appeared to be unimpressed by The Wanted's performance of new single Chasing The Sun.

The Wanted's criticism of Aguleria's mood comes off of the back of her treatment of Justin Bieber on the same show!

The boys are now getting their own back by labelling the singer a "total b**ch".

Tom Parker recently told New York radio station Now FM, "She's a total b**ch. She might not be a b**ch in real life, but to us, she was a total b**ch. She just sat there and didn't speak to us. Wouldn't even look at us."

Parker was backed up by bandmate Siva Kaneswaran, who admits she was "quite rude", while Max George adds, "(Aguilera) was a bit scary, to be honest."

George also went so far to compare the experience with their recent visit to the set of American Idol, where he managed to sneak a kiss from show judge Jennifer Lopez.

George said of that experience, "J.Lo's hot, Christina's nothing special!"
