Asa Butterfield On Working With "Serious" Sacha Baron Cohen In 'Hugo'

Martin Scorsese's new film Hugo features an incredible line up of actors, so we sent Hot Hits Live From LA host Andrew Gunsberg out to find out what it was like working together on this film.

Asa Butterfield, who plays Hugo, revealed that working with Sacha Baron Cohen was "weird", because he insisted on staying in character even when the cameras weren't rolling.

"It was very weird working with him, 'cos you sort of see him as Borat, Bruno and Ali G. And so you see him, and you want to sort of go 'High five' or do something like that," Asa told thehothits.com.

"And you think he's just going to be pulling loads of jokes all the time, but he's actually really serious. Like even when we weren't filming, everyone would have to call him by his name Station Inspector. And so he'd always stay in character all the time. So that was a bizarre experience."

And Chloe Moretz also revealed that she tricked Martin Scorsese into thinking she was British!

Plus we also spoke to the very talented Ben Kingsley. Check out the interview below.

Hugo is in Australian cinemas on January 12.
