Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend Brody Jenner reportedly got in a bar fight in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Avril took to her Twitter account to explain what happened, revealing that she was attacked by 5 people.

She wrote, "I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is fucked."

She added, "As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer"

According to E! News, the couple "ended up in a bloody bar brawl last night after the former Hills star had a bottle smashed in his face at the Hollywood Roosevelt."

According to an E! source, Avril got into an argument with a woman which Brody tried to break up.
Things got worse when punches were thrown, and Brody ended up in hospital!

Brody tweeted, "Interesting Saturday night... Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face.. Charges/chargers!!!"
