Fan favourite Christina Parie has been booted from The X Factor in a shock elimination!

Teen star Christina found herself in the bottom two last night with Reece Mastin, totally shocking fans of the show. Twitter was going crazy, with 'Christina and Reece' trending for most of the night.

Judge Ronan Keating also shared his surprise, tweeting, "Total shock about who is in bottom 2".

In their sing off, Reece performed Bon Jovi's 'Always', while Christina sang Avril Lavigne's anthem 'I'm With You'.

And this time it came down to the judges votes. Mel and Guy each saved their own contestants and Ronan decided to save Reece. And Nat, who has had a bit of a feud with Mel, chose to send Christina home.

This means Mel has no contestants left in the competition. Ronan and Nat each have one, while Guy still has all three of his boys.

Last night's show also showcased performances from Jessica Mauboy and Stan Walker, judge Ronan Keating and DJ Havana Brown.
