DiCaprio And Gang Ready For Release

Leonardo DiCaprio has been noticeably absent from the big screen since his Academy Award nominated role in Titanic, the biggest film in history! However it's not because he hasn't been working, quite the contrary in fact.

The Martin Scorsese directed Gangs of New York was originally slated for a December 2001 release, however it still isn't finished. The film has had numerous release dates, but is now firmly set for a December 20th release in the United States.

Five days later a second DiCaprio film, Catch Me If You Can, will be released by DreamWorks going up against The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers.

So while we haven't heard from the actor for a while, soon he'll be everywhere, and the Oscar buzz is already starting!

'Gangs' co-stars Cameron Diaz and will feature U2 singing the title track.
