INTERVIEW: The Veronicas Support Demi Lovato After Weight Comments

The Veronicas have spoken out exclusively to The Hot Hits Live From LA about the abuse Demi Lovato has received over her weight recently.

Jess Origliasso says the pressure from the media and the music industry is "insane".

"I think the music industry is an extremely tough lifestyle," she told thehothits.com.

"I think the pressure that the media and the industry put on young people in general, specifically young women in pop music, is absolutely insane and ridiculous."

We also asked the girls about the cover they did of Demi's song 'Skyscraper'!

"We were in the bathroom one night really bored, drinking wine, and I was playing that song on the guitar and we started singing it," Jess said.

Ironically The Veronicas and Demi have a spooky connection! Toby Gad, the producer who worked on 'Skyscraper' with Demi, also produced tracks on both The Veronicas albums!

Apparently they are all good friends with Demi!
