BEST DRESSED
Britney Spears
This one is a bit of a battle, but overall we think Brit looks good. Clean, nice hair, fresh makeup. Somebody just needs to remind her that she's not 16 anymore and should probably start to lower the hemlines.
Beyonce
Pregnancy certainly agrees with Beyonce. She's positively glowing in this flowing orange gown. The colour is VERY on trend -- orange is going to be huge this season. Nice simple hair and accessories too.
Selena Gomez
Wow. Blink and you'll miss her with her tiny frame! But Selena looks just gorgeous in this little black lacy number. We can't quite work out where it starts and where it begins, but at least you know you won't see what she had for breakfast when she bends over. Such a good girl Selena!
Demi Lovato
Demi has definitely sexed up her look for the VMAs! Check out that deep (ahem -- fake) tan, dark eyes, bombshell hair and cleavage baring mini-dress. Love it.
Jessie J
Massive props to Jessie J for rocking up to a red carpet in crutches, sporting a leg injury and still managing to smile and look hot. Great sparkle.
WORST DRESSED
Nicki Minaj
Do not even know where to start here. It looks like Nicki fell through a toy box covered in super glue. And what is with her hair?! It looks like the Paddlepop Lion pooed on her head in rainbow flavour. Props for the use of colour though.
Kim Kardashian
Ok Kim, we know you just got married and all, but surely you have a more exciting dress than this in your gazillion dollar closet. Snore.
Jersey Shore girls
With the exclusion of J-Woww (coz her dress is kinda cute!), these chicks look like a carnival gone wrong.
Deena -- did you make your dress out of left over mardi gras banners?
Just way too many boobs and faces channelling Jocelyn Wildenstein in this picture! Argh!
Miley Cyrus
Not quite sure what Miley is going for here, but her dress looks like it belongs in the US military's new uniforms. And what's with the back necklace? Weird. On the plus side, her hair does look pretty.
Kelly Rowland
This Destiny's Child star might have her boobs taped firmly in place this time around, but did she kill a buffalo to make that dress? Seriously, it's a little cave-man-esque. And we have no idea how she manages to walk in those stilettos.

Um, Katy... we thought that whole pin-up parasol girl look was so 2 years ago? Sorry, but we're not loving it this time. We've moved on.
Rebecca Black
Rebecca, we know it's not Friday, and we know you're only a spring chicken of 13, but didn't your mum teach you that shorts are only acceptable if you're a: hiking, b: riding a bike, or c: a lesbian? Don't get us wrong, you've got great legs honey. But don't come to a red carpet event dressed like you're off to your bff's barbecue.
