Australia's festival season rolled on when 'Good Vibrations' hit up Melbourne equipped with some of the world's hottest dance, RnB and hip hop acts. Although there were late cancellations from the Grammy nominated Cee-Lo Green and Janelle Monae, headliners Faithless, Phoenix, Ludacris and Sidney Samson still pulled decent numbers to Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse for a Sunday afternoon.

Despite the cooler conditions, revellers pushed through the pain barrier with the gals donning fluro 'short' shorts complete with tanned mid-drifts, whilst the guys opted for the gaping 'festival singlets' (yes, they actually have a name!) or no top at all, yeowza!
Back to the music...Impressing early were new kids on the block Fenech Soler from the UK proving they're an act to keep an eye on if single 'Lies' is anything to go by. Fellow countrymen Friendly Fires also impressed with a highly energetic set showcasing crowd pleasers from their debut album mixed with tracks from their soon to be released studio album 'Pala'.

Commercial favourite Mike Posner scored the first big sing-a-long of the day when he busted out the hugely popular 'Cooler Than Me' later in the afternoon, whilst home-grown act Bag Raiders claimed biggest early evening dance off with a beat heavy and highly animated set.
One of better stages to hang by was the 'Roots' tent where 'Good Vibe' goers were treated to the vocal talents of Erykah Badu, New Zealand soul brothers Fat Freddy's Drop, and the ridiculously cool combination of rapper Nas and Bob Marley's youngest son Damien who were easily the biggest highlight of the day.
Special mention must go to Kelis who scored costume of the day in a super sparkly short number, lights and sound award to dance legends Faithless, and last but not least Frenchmen Phoenix, for tightest jeans award!
