When brothers and sisters usually spend too much time together it usually ends in tears or tiffs. But put Angus and Julia Stone together and beautiful, enchanting music is born.

Although the brother sister duo spent little time together as children, they first connected on a musical level during a trip to South America after Julia had graduated High School. Upon their return to Australia the siblings moved in together, started playing open mic nights and began busking on the streets of Sydney! They released their first album 'A Book Like This' in 2007 where it debuted at number 6 on the ARIA charts despite the majority of the album being recorded in their mother's lounge room in Newport. This year has seen another success for the duo with their second album 'Down The Way' debuting at number 1 on the ARIA charts.

Jungle Boy?!
Believe it or not Angus can build canoes! After Julia and Angus spent a month in the Amazon living with tribal communities, Angus picked up the boat crafting skill and says if he ever has to pick another career he would move to the jungle and work as a canoe maker!

Hot Hits Rumour
Supposedly Angus and Julia's first choice of band names was 'The Stones'. But they were pretty sure there was another band with that name... we've got no idea who they're thinking of though?!
