Russell Brand and Katy Perry Engaged!?

After only 3 months of dating comedian Russell Brand has proposed to his US pop star girlfriend Katy Perry!

According to UK reports, Brand was recently spotted shopping for a diamond ring at a Cartier jewellery store in early December.

Britain's Daily Mirror then revealed that Russell proposed to the 'I Kissed A Girl' hit maker last week in his home town of London.

A source says, "He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes. They don't know when the wedding will be but they are planning to make it in 2010 if the schedules can work. Russell is searching for a jewellery designer to create a ring in time for the New Year."

Spokespeople for both parties have declined to comment on the engagement.
