No More Dating For John Mayer!

John Mayer has decided to take a break from relationships, because he is "freaked out about dating."

The rocker, who has romanced stars including Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson, split from on/off girlfriend Jennifer Aniston this year (09).
Mayer admits the blaze of publicity surrounding his love affair with Aniston has made him wary about romancing women in the public eye, and he's adamant he will be staying away from the dating scene in 2010.

He tells U.S. TV host Ellen DeGeneres, "I'm a little freaked out right now about it, to be honest. I'm a little freaked out about dating so I'm just going to let time pass and do my thing.
"If whoever I date has been famous for a while, I can't sit around and be like, 'Please let me live my life in private with this famous person who has been around for 15 years.' I have to figure out what are the things I asked for and signed up for in terms of cause and effect.
"I have a good heart, I may have gotten lost a couple of times, but so does everyone. I am going to hunker down now and 2010 is going to be a peaceful year for me no matter what I do."
