Robbie Williams Is NOT Engaged!

The team at The Hot Hits breathed a huge sigh of relief when the news came in that Robbie Williams is not actually engaged.

The cheeky Brit asked girlfriend of 3 years, Ayda Field to be his wife on the Kyle and Jackie O Show last week. But a representative of the star revealed that the engagement was a set up, and Robbie just thought it would be a bit of fun.

Robbie has also denied the engagement on his official website, "Hey All. We Are Not Engaged. Rob."

Though Williams' mother has added speculation to the claim, by telling BBC Radio 5 that his son had already popped the questions about a week ago.

Well we're going to take Robbie's word for it, and just put it down to being an excellent publicity stunt from the mischievous star.
