Our favourite cheeky Brit Robbie Williams held his first Australian press conference in Sydney yesterday, ahead of his performance at the ARIAs, and we were there to catch the latest goss from the 'Bodies' singer!

Robbie spoke candidly about his drug battles and his extrovert personality, "I have that mechanism inside me that enjoys not choosing life... that has an inbuilt in my DNA wants to get high... or wants to remove... myself from my mind...And I don't think that ever leaves... you do things to ensure that you're safe... and one of those things is choosing not to go on tour."

The former Take That singer also answered questions about his new girlfriend, and the huge impact she's had on the troubled star, "I'm in a good place, the missus has done a great deal with showing me what relationships are about and the benefits of them that I never saw before... and that helps make me centered."
