Robert Pattinson Rules Out Action Films!

So after R-Patz had wrapped up this whole Twilight saga thing we were hoping he'd don the lyrca and jump out of helicopters for a couple of hot action flicks...apparently not.

Pattinson has completely ruled out the idea of signing up for blockbuster action flicks, as he has aboslutely no desire to cash in on his popularity.

Since landing the role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight franchise, Pattinson has gone from a nobody to one of the most recognizable faces on the planet. But instead of making the most of his new found fame, Pattinson just wants to do independent films.

He recently spoke to Vanity Fair magazine, "There's no point (doing an action blockbuster) - I mean, I don't have any material desires at all. I wear the same clothes every single day. I don't buy anything. And I don't go out anymore either!"

Well as long as his films make it to the cinema, we don't really care what he stars in! But a few action films certainly wouldn't go astray.
