Robert Pattinson is Giving Up Acting After Twilight?!

Robert Pattinson is contemplating quitting acting after Twilight - because he's unsure if he wants a long stretch in the film industry after the vampire franchise.
The 23 year old has had a rollercoaster ride from relative unknown to global superstar since taking on the role of blood-sucking vampire Edward Cullen.

Now Pattinson is looking into the future, and admits he's thought about giving up acting for good.
Referring to his character, Pattinson tells Seventeen magazine, "I don't even know if I want to be an actor that long. I don't even know how to be someone else... if I start doing lame work, I'm not going to stick around and do it!"

i love robert pattinson, but i dont think he is going to be able to cope with the demands of being an actor. he is a quiet person and is independant from what i see and hear. i think he should just pursue his music career instead :)

hmm. after twilight you can guarantee that there r gonna be twilight fans crawling everywhere when he finished the series and does other movies. Because he's the irristible 'Edward' everybody's read about. so you can understand where he's coming from. he's even admitted the he'd thought of himself as a wierd kid. so it's gotta be creepy going from that to being ridiculously famous.

i agree with you, twilight_crazy_<3.... but i also think that this publicity has also kind of helped him...people have been closely speculating his music that was in the twilight soundtrack. some people loved, others hated it. if he was to continue music and quit acting, he might actually sell some records thanks to acting in twilight "lets buy Edward's album"... because that is now what he has been recognised for... playing Edward Cullen.

sorry 2 say this rob fans but i think he migth as well be a famous hater means he hates beign famous why well lots of thigns come with beign famous e.g fans. ppl chasign u to take pictues of you, contracts ect i juts made the word up anyway i mean i got it from nelly's song maneater and turn it in2 famous hater ROFL

btw i know how hard it is being famous cuz when i was little i waz famous at my skool at beign a clown in class when the teacher was not there ROFL but first thing give it a rest u will feel better after having 2 days of in the weekends take a break from reading lines doign work ect i mean i've seen some ppls do that and when they came back they felt great so why the heck dose he not do that geez brainless idiot!
