Nicole Richie in Car Accident with Paparazzo

Nicole Richie has been involved in a car collision with a paparazzo in Los Angeles.

The new mum was being tailed by a snapper as she drove through Beverly Hills on Monday (05Oct09) when the pap crashed into the back of her vehicle.

According to TMZ.com, Richie was "in pain" but refused to go to hospital, instead deciding to receive treatment from her own private doctors.

An unidentified male passenger was also in the car with the 28 year old.

The photographer has reportedly been cited for being an unlicensed driver and his car impounded.
