The vegan electronic musiuc guru, Moby has just completed a week in Australia talking up his new album '18'. While the short shorn one was here he also took time out to get back to nature.
Usually at 6.30am most rock'n'roll types would be elegantly wasted and trying to find there way back to their hotel. But not our mate Moby, he was up with the birds to check out one of his favourite places in the whole world, the Melbourne Botanic Gardens. Moby has a thing for the bats or flying foxes that reside in the tree tops of the gardens. So there he was, alone in the gardens with a couple of hundred bats all hanging upside down fast asleep.
No one had bothered to tell Moby that the best time to view the bats was at dusk when they come out looking for insects. Oh well, he'll just have to wait until January when Moby will return to Australia to play live.
