A Walk To Remember Premiere: Fox Studios, Sydney

Mandy Moore was recently in the country to promote her new movie A Walk to Remember. Last week she appeared at the premiere of the film with co-star Shane West and a host of other local celebrities.

Publicists promised A-list appearances from Keanu Reeves and Will Smith too but, unfortunately, they were nowhere to be found...

Earlier in the day, on Channel [V]'s whatuwant, Mandy and Shane were both interviewed and the fans also had a chance to ask them questions. Mandy was also nice enough to sign a few autographs!

Though there wasn't a huge crowd at that stage, it built up in time for the premiere a few hours later just across the road at Cinema Paris.

One of the first to walk down the red carpet was newest Popstar Scott Cain. There were also Big Brother stars (Shannon and Aaron), Home and Away stars, Craig from Australian Survivor, Scott Major, and others

Finally a limo pulled up at the red carpet and out came Mandy Moore. She was excited to see so many people! She was even nice enough to stop and sign heaps of autographs. Mandy signed everything from photos to posters and of course the movie soundtrack. The soundtrack is quite good (in her opinion) as it features four Mandy Moore songs!

After posing for the cameras and signing for the fans, Mandy went inside to introduce her movie. The cinema was packed with fans and celebrities and most people seemed to enjoy the movie. Mandy is a very natural actor. Overall, a very successful night!
