Zac, Vanessa and Ashley Greet Screaming Fans in Sweltering Melbourne

Gossip Bitch was on the red carpet last night at the Melbourne premiere of 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' joined by 3000 screaming fans, some of which had been there since 6.30 in the morning.
The wait was long and it was stinking hot, but it was worth it.
After a 2 hour wait (and about 4 repeats of the HSM 3 soundtrack over the loudspeakers), the stars of the show finally arrived and the screams from the crowd were deafening!
Ashley's blonde Sharpay-esque locks are now a distant memory, with the 23 year old star now sporting chocolate brown tresses, so Gossip Bitch wanted to know, do blondes really have more fun?
It's not about your hair colour, "it's about confidence," says Ashley.
Unlike Director/Choreographer Kenny Ortega and Producer Barry Rosenbush who are taking time off in Australia to holiday, the stars of the show have little time for fun. Vanessa said she'd done a spot of shopping at Sass & Bide, while Zac said he'll "definitely get to do something fun."
Zac, Vanessa and Ashley are saying goodbye to High School Musical in this movie, handing the torch to some up-n-comers who are introduced to audiences in the new film.
"I love being a part of High School Musical," said Zac. "I wish I could do it forever, but everyone's got to grow up."
Zac wore his standard sleek dark suit to the premiere while the girls, who both wore white at the Sydney premiere, dazzled in cute black evening dresses - Vanessa's a Jennifer Packham mini-dress and a sequinned retro number for Ashley.
And the question on everyone's lips - will Troy and Gabriella make it in the end? "They'll probably get married," said Vanessa.
And if you're wondering about High School Musical 4, bad luck! "This is all about High School Musical 3!" said Producer Rosenbush when quizzed on the subject.
We also got the chance to chat with Underbelly star Vince Collossimo, Shane Warne and Jane Turner a.k.a Kath from Kath and Kim, who weren't so much fans of the Zac and co. as their kids were. Asked if he remembered what his last day at school was like, Vince responded, "Is that what this movie is about? I have no idea."

Haha. My friend went yesterday. And we have JUST been on the phone talking about it for half an hour. She was like "OMG. I SAW ZAC & NESS & ASH." You hot hits people are so lucky. You guys go everywhere. You should give some tickets away to us for something xD

i wanna watch this movie !! i reckon Zac is a little over dramatic in his acting though, it sure makes hell of an expression statement. helps us know what hes thinking lol. Vanessa and Ashley are hot ! Wheres Corbin ? He should've been there too the 4 of them are Awesome.
