Universal Music is pleased to announce that the legal dispute involving singer/songwriter Candice Alley and her ex-manager Brian Canham has been satisfactorily resolved. The dispute first arose in 2001.
Legal proceedings were commenced in July 2003, involving Candice Alley and her record company Universal Music and well known musician/songwriters Brian Canham and Ben Grayson.
The case had been before the Court a number of times before it was settled last week on confidential terms. The parties are pleased to have resolved the dispute enabling them to put it behind them and to pursue their careers.
Candice Alley said today: "I am happy with the settlement. I now want to focus on my career and am looking forward to the future and to continuing my songwriting."
Brian Canham and Ben Grayson also said today that they were pleased with the settlement.
