Some people know what they want to do with their life from an early age, Candice Alley is one of those. She left school when she was only 16, with her parents blessing - 'because they knew how single-minded I was' - and almost immediately sat down and wrote her debut hit single 'Falling'.
'It was weird, as if the challenge of being a self-dependent singer-songwriter all of a sudden, inspired me to write what is still one of my favourite songs - and it only took 20 minutes'.
Candice's debut album has been sometime in the making so in support of the release of the CD, 'Colorblind', next week. . . Candice Alley
