Local tongue-in-cheek rockers The Androids have been one of the fastest success stories in recent memory and now have launched their own website: theandroids.com. Pity some of the first visitors to this on-line fiesta were a bunch of drunk miners bored out of their brain. They asked on the notice board when will the band be coming to Paraburdoo, the guys politely replied, real soon. Not sure if they realise it is about two and half thousand kilometres north of Perth and has a total population of about 4,000 iron ore workers.

The latest Android news is the Material Girl's personal stamp of approval after she heard 'Do It With Madonna' on L.A's KIIS-FM. The world's greatest pop diva requested the single and responded with an e-mail saying that she loved the song. The lads are about to venture to the UK followed by US where their first single is already getting some serious airplay.
