MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 - Beyonce Cleans Up!

Beyonce was the big winner at this year's MTV EMAs, collecting 3 awards at the electrifying ceremony held in Berlin.The always entertaining Katy Perry was this year's host and did a stellar job adding her special touch of quirkiness and kicking off the show with a killer performance.

Eminem won Best Male on the night, while Jay-Z took home Best Urban category. Legendary Irish band, U2, won Best Live Act and brought Berlin to a standstill with an incredible performance beamed into the show from the city's historic Brandenburg Gate.
The awards were held in Berlin this year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The awards ceremony also featured some amazing live performances from the likes of Beyonce, Jay Z, Green Day, Leona Lewis, Foo Fighters and Shakira.
