The 2009 Emmy host Neil Patrick Harris has let rip at Kanye West during his opening speech and warned potential winners to look out for stage invaders before accepting their awards!

Kanye West's reputation has taken a substantial nose dive since he ruined Taylor Swift's big moment at the MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday (13Sep09).

As Swift was making her acceptance speech for best female video Kanye jumped onto the stage, ripped the microphone out of the country star's hand and declared that Beyonce deserved the award for 'Single Ladies'.

West's controversial stage invasion made for plenty of laughs at the 61st Emmys, with Harris also warning award favourites Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin they could be up for a fight, chanting "Here's hoping Kanye West likes 30 Rock!"
