Justin Timberlake Biography

Justin Timberlake
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the future.

The prince of pop brings sexy back with an album set to blow the lid off pop as we know it.

'FutureSex/LoveSounds' is the answer to JT's search for a sound that takes a step back from the predictable pop of his peers and brings down a slamming shot of seductive pop on the ears of those who think they know a good dance floor tune when they hear one.

Inspired by the 80s melodies of Prince and David Bowie, Timberlake said his mission was to bring back the love for the classics of yesteryear:

"Still to this day people hear 'Rebel Rebel', 'Let's Dance', 'Kiss', 'Let's Go Crazy' and they go crazy when they hear those songs. It evokes sexual feelings in people... They made girls lose their friggin' minds..."

Produced by industry giant Rick Rubin (who has also worked magic for countless stars from the RHCPs to Johnny Cash) along with JAWBreakers (JT and Will.I.Am's duo), and Timbaland, 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' merges electro with pop, R&B with rock into a progressive, raw sound that tinkers with samples and synths to push the boundaries of how we know dance music with that searing streak of JT style.

From the slow, seducing string intro of 'FutureSex/LoveSounds' to the album's first killer single 'SexyBack' (which is Justin's fastest growing US hit since 'Like I Love You') and the up-beat, soon-to-be-released second single 'My Love' (featuring TI), each of these twelve expansive tracks spell the future of contemporary pop.

'Future Sex/Love Sounds' follows Justin's multi-platinum debut solo album 'Justified' which featured four massive Top 10 singles including the ARIA #1 hit 'Rock Your Body', 'Cry Me A River', 'Like I Love You' and 'Senorita'.

It is with open arms and a packed dancefloor that we welcome back the boy who always knows how to act...

As of 2008, Timberlake is currently working on his film career.
