Dannii Strips For Charity

Dannii Minogue has done her fair share of raunchy photo shoots and calendars over the years but this time she has gone all the way. Dannii has stipped off wearing just a long red ribbon and not much else to help the fight against Aids. Dannii wants to help raise awareness of World Aids Day in her role as an ambassador for the Terence Higgins Trust. "Pictures can be very powerful - we wanted to make this campaign fun and sexy," said Dannii. The other Minogue has cited some of her close friends as the reason that she wanted to do something to help. "I guess it comes from knowing a lot of people in the entertainment and having friends who have been affected by Aids," she adds. "It's an ugly, ugly, ugly thing but it is something that is real in my life."

Dannii is hoping to release a new album in mid 2005 and is currently doing well on the chart with her new single 'You Won't Forget About Me', says she wants to "break down myths" such as Aids only being a gay disease. "HIV doesn't discriminate - somewhere in their minds young people still think it is a gay disease," she added.
