Dannii Minogue may have been dropped by Warner Music earlier in the year, but the Aussie trouper has struck back by signing a new deal with 'All Around The World' records, which is connected to Universal Music, the deal is worth about 7.7 million dollars. Over the years Dannii has had mixed luck with different record companies and despite her last album 'Neon Nights doing okay in some parts of the world, it wasn't massive enough for Warners.
It'll be fourth time lucky for the former Melbourne girl who, besides Warner, has also previously had deals with RCA and Mushroom Records since her debut album 'Love And Kisses' in 1990. A spy has let slip that: "Yes, Dannii's about to sign a deal - it's with the lawyers at the moment. It's a big thing for her and she's thrilled but she doesn't want to jinx it!"
A new single from Dannii, titled 'You Won't Forget About Me' is due out next month. There is no word on whether her Capital FM radio show in London will be re-signed for another year, the show was also heard nationally on the Austereo Network here in Australia.
