Kelis Has Got Some Shakin' New Sounds

Kelis isn't a household word yet, but we're sure you would have heard her at some stage she has done vocal work for the likes of the Neptunes, she's on the current P.Diddy dance song and is featured on the hit by Richard X called 'Finest Dreams'. At the moment Kelis is readying 'Tasty,' her third album and first for new label Arista, for a November 11 world wide release. The 24-year-old New York native's new batch of toons will include her bangin' new single 'Milkshake.'

Production guru's the Neptunes assists on a number of tracks, including 'Milkshake.' Elsewhere on the album, Kelis gets assistance from producers Dallas Austin, P. Diddy and ex-Toni Tony Tone frontman Raphael Saadiq. "I had so much time alone with the music," says Kelis in a statement. "The album feels very intimate, and it very clearly reflects where I am in my life right now. I feel comfortable, settled."
