VMAs Action, Plus Paris Sticks Up for the Jonas Brothers

All the stars were in attendance at yesterday's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, which included performances from the Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Chris Brown and Rihanna, plus every other hot celeb you could think of was there strutting the red carpetAs usual there was plenty of controversy - and it all seemed to centre around chastity/promise rings, the trend that the Jonas Brothers have made very popular, representing their vow to stay virgins until marriage.
Courtney Love didn't even attend the VMAs as she says they're now too 'Urban' and got onto her blog to rant about it, calling the Jonas Brothers - *gasp* - "a**holes with chastity rings." Woah!
But Paris Hilton, who definitely never wore a promise ring, was sticking up for the Jonas Brothers. Host Russell Brand also took a dig a the boys, but Paris wasn't cool with it.
"I don't pick on them," Hilton told Usmagazine.com after Brand's remarks. "That's something cool for a kid to keep, so don't pick on them for that."
Aww good on ya Paris.

I like the fact The Jonas Brothers has promise/chastity because I have one myself, have had it since i was 15. Everyone i knew in high school had lost their virginity at the age of 13 or so and I look at them now and realize what a great choice i made. - Sk8erella

fck Courtney Love. Perez, Jordan && Paris did a good thing. it was funny, but he did take it too far && JB prob didn`t like being treated like that. they met Britney =] http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1594374/20080908/jonas_brothers.jhtml everyone is also being so slack about what happened. saying JB deserved it. i think it`s really cruel. but it was a good show =] i liked it. the redcarpet was fun && I loved when Ryan got out of the limo && startd waving to Sway =] x
