Big Day Out 2009 Lineup Announced!

It's coming up to that time of year again, and with all the hot summer days just around the corner, this could mean only one thing... Big Day Out!Australia's premier music festival, has just announced the first round of acts set to appear on the day. And we at thehothits.com are lovin' it!
Legendary US rocker Neil Young will headline, appearing along side British indie kids the Arctic Monkeys, Aussie juggernauts The Living End and Sneaky Sound System and British dance pioneers The Prodigy.
These and a host more will be playing around the country as part of the festival in the following cities: Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and the Gold Coast.
Full 1st round announcement is as follows:
NEIL YOUNG, ARCTIC MONKEYS, THE LIVING END, THE PRODIGY, SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM, MY MORNING JACKET, PENDULUM, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, TV ON THE RADIO, SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO, THE TING TINGS, TIKI TAANE, CUT COPY, COG, YOUTH GROUP, THE GRATES, BIRDS OF TOKYO, TZU and EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING.
