Hilary Duff Joins Gossip Girl Cast!

Singer/actress HILARY DUFF is set to join the cast of hit U.S. drama GOSSIP GIRL - as a famous movie star.

The 21 year old will feature in several upcoming episodes, opposite show regulars Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley, as a celebrity studying at New York University.

Her first appearance on the show is set to air in the U.S. in October (09), according to EW.com.

i wonder who she will play a nerd or cool.. so happy for her!! she has ben quite for a while hopefully she does really well
