Ashanti, the R&B star, has no problem with telling people that her new album is coming along fine. She reckons that her new set has no bearing on the trouble that came with being asscociated with her mentor Irv Gotti's recent legal troubles. Ashanti is currently working on her third album with music heavyweight Gotti and hip-hop star Ja Rule, says that the case in which Gotti and his brother Chris Lorenzo were accused of laundering money through their record company The Inc, is already been put behind them and is now a distant memory. She says, "It's been really rough this year, but I think nothing can stop us. Me, Ja and Irv, we're in the studio recording music for our next album. Some of the songs are so hot that they were supposed to be for this remix album and we decided to keep them for the next record. Ja is coming out with a Greatest Hits album. We really are keeping things going."
