Jay-Z might be the king of hip hop, but that doesn't mean he always gets his own way. He recently revealed he wanted to work with MGMT, the band responsible for the songs 'Kids' and 'Electric Feel', but they turned him down!
Jigga wanted to hook up with them for a song on his latest album 'The Blueprint 3', which includes collaborations with Alicia Keys, Luke Steele from Empire of the Sun, Rihanna, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Drake and Pharrell.

"MGMT turned me down," he admitted in an interview with Gotham magazine.

did however, recently collaborate with Kanye West protege Kid Cudi on the song 'Pursuit of Happyness' from his album 'Man on the Moon: The End of the Day''.
They're currently working on their second album 'Congratulations', rumoured to come out in March 2010.
