Silverchair Back On Deck In 2006

Big news for Silverchair fans is that the band will be back in 2006 with a brand new album. The guys have been doing some writing and pre-production on a bunch of a new songs. The good news doesn't stop there, especially if you are in New South Wales, the band have confirmed that they will be playing at The Great Escape at Newington Armory over the Easter Long Weekend, April 14, 15 & 16 in 2006. The Great Escape is on an island just up the river from Cockatoo Island just out of Sydney. The 3 day festival will be full of music, art, camping & a whole lot more!

Silverchair have been busy working on new material and although they will be taking a short break over Christmas, the boys will be ready to take to the rehearsal rooms in the new year so they can road test some of their new tunes - and those of you at The Great Escape will be among the first to get a sneak preview of what’s in store.

Tickets for The Great Escape will go on sale at 10am Friday 23rd December, so be sure to mark this date in your diary as you won’t want to miss out!
