Silverchair To Unleash Live CD/DVD

While talk might still be hotting up on when Daniel and Natalie are gonna tie the knot. . . Real Silverchair fans are wondering when does the guys first live CD/DVD hit music stores. 'Live from Faraway Stables' will be available on November 10 and the package will include 2 CDs and 2 DVDs, recorded at the shows played in Newcastle earlier this year at the Civic Theatre. This set is no different to their tour from earlier this year when Act 1 focussed on the subtle and quiet compositions while Act 2 rocks out. Overall you'll get 2 hours worth of the Chair in concert plus a colour booklet of tour photos, plus a number of special bonus features. Neither of the CDs or DVDs will be sold separately.

Daniel Johns in the past has admitted that he's never been a fan of live albums but after the incredible response to a broadcast of a portion of these shows on Channel V, fans responded with an overwhelming demand for a DVD release. 'I'm not usually a fan of live albums,' the band's award-winning songwriter admitted. 'Which is why I've never wanted to do one before now. But this tour was just so much fun it seemed a pity not to make it available to people - particularly now that you can mix it in surround sound to make it feel almost like a real show.'
