The death of R'n'B star Aaliyah in August 2001 has left fans with a bigger than ever interest in her music. Last month in the USA, her 'I Care 4 U' album debut at No.3 on the album charts.
Aaliyah had not long released a new album at the time of her death. Her 'Aaliyah' album was just weeks old when she died. Her unreleased tracks are rare. One of those unreleased songs is the eerily titled 'Miss You'.
To make up 'I Care 4 U' her label decided on a mix of greatest hits to fill out the six unreleased songs that make up the collection.
The new songs are 'Don't Know What To Tell Ya', 'All I Need', 'Miss You', 'Don't Worry', 'Come Over' and Erica Kane'. For the video, Aaliyah's celebrity admirers volunteered their services. In the 'Miss You' clip you will see Missy Elliott, 'Lil Kim, Tweet and Queen Latifah.
For Missy Elliott, it takes full circle an association that began on the first Aaliyah album. 'I Care 4 U' is released on Shock Records on February 3rd 2003.
