Aaliyah's Matrix Replacement

The tragic death of R&B singer Aaliyah came just before she was due to continue work on the Matrix II and III. Since then the painful search for a replacement has been undertaken.

Now it seems that a replacement has been found in Nona Gaye - daughter of Motown legend Marvin Gaye! She bares an uncanny resemblence to the late Aaliyah and will take the role of Zee in both Matrix II and III.

Aaliyah filmed Queen of the Damned in Melbourne, and began filming Matrix II in Sydney, however she sadly only completed two weeks of filming.


Filming will re-commence in Sydney at Fox Studios soon.
