If it weren't a true story, Bryce Courteney would have to write it. Small town siblings Ella and Jesse Hooper (aged 13 and 15 respectively) are railroaded into performing together for the first time at a local arts festival. They enjoy the experience so much, they decide to form a band. Flick over a few pages. The sound guy at the arts gig has helped the duo record two tracks for national radio station Triple J's Unearthed competition. Within a month the duo from Violet Town win their regional heat via their song 'Kettle'.
